ZoundSound Records Nashville was started in 1996. It blossomed out of Zounds Recording Studio in Hendersonville, Tennesse. There was so much great unsigned talent coming through the studio, it just seemed natural to create a label to allow the music to be heard. The roster at ZSR is quite varied. You can't put a label on this label.

HisHouse Records was started in 1995 in Hendersonville, Tennessee when a gospel group from Kentucky came into Zounds Recording to record and album. They didn't have enough money to do what they wanted or needed to do. They also didn't have a record label or music publisher. They did have a lot of great songs that needed to get out to the general public so a new label was born and their project was released. Since then, other projects have followed with each one different in it's own way as the label releases a varied genre of spiritual music.

Little Buddy Records started in Southern California in 1984. It started in conjunction with Zounds Music ASCAP. The first band to grace the label was The Frankie S. Band. They were later moved to the ZoundSound label as the Little Buddy label was headed for Little Buddy Land.....Kid's music. Pairing the company with the Buffalo Bear Music catalog was a perfect match. Songs that were in the silly, funny, unusual, children's or specialty catagories easily found their way to the Little Buddy label. The term "Little Buddy" first came to popularity on the "Gilligan's Island" TV show but was later made even more famous when used by The Captain and The Commander in the Allied Space Federation Tapes as in, "You know how I can get............Little Buddy."
